The School Age Program:

The School Age Program provides high quality before and after school care for children in grades one through six.
The School Age program provides a safe and a stimulating environment where children can learn and have fun without interferences.
Our curriculum encourages initiative, promotes self confidence and introduces children to aspects of life in ways that make sense for them.

It includes activities to help children develop socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically. This development is facilitated through experiences in creative and performing arts, social and physical education, academic and cultural enrichment, club activities and field trips.

The School Age program is accredited by the National School Age Care Alliance. Our program is the first and only school age program in Nevada to have this accreditation.

The School Age program is open to active duty and Department of Defense civilians in accordance with Air Force priorities. To register your child, bring proper identification to establish eligibility. Also provide each child’s immunization record and a copy of both parents pay statements. Fees are based on household member's total family income.

Family Rules and Safety Plan:

kid1. Be sure to review important family rules. Discuss specific chores and rules for playing inside and outside the home. Reward positive behavior!

2. Make sure your child knows emergency phone numbers and how to reach you at all times. Post all emergency phone numbers at every phone in your home! Designate an alternate emergency contact in your neighborhood. Make sure it's someone your child knows.

3. Practice fire and medical emergency procedures with your child. Teach your child the dangers of flammable or toxic items. Be sure your child knows basic first aid.

4. Leave a prepared snack. Provide a flashlight.

5. Do not leave a sick child home alone. Medicines should be taken only with your permission and adult supervision.

6. Teach your children not to give out personal information on the phone. They should say their parents are busy -- or their parents are not at home. Periodically, check in with your children by phone.

7. The base curfew for children under 14 is 10 p.m. everyday. The base curfew for children 14-18 is 10 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and midnight on Friday, Saturday and nights preceding holidays or days that school is not in session.

8. The following information should be included in all Family Plans:

  • For all emergencies call 911

  • Security Forces: 652-2311
