The Nellis/Creech Honor Guard is an elite group of professionals, who exemplify the traditions of the United States Air Force. The Honor Guards primary mission is to provide military funeral honors for active duty personnel, retirees and veterans. Time and resources permitting, they also provide support to military and civic events.

To request Military Funeral Honors:
Please contact the Honor Guard at (702) 652-4136 or by fax (702) 644-4128. Requests may be submitted by any interested person however they are normally handled by the funeral home representative assisting with the family's arrangements. 48 hours notice is preferred to ensure sufficient time to prepare for the funeral honors.
The Nellis/Creech Honor Guard rends funeral honors in the following counties:
• Nevada: Clark, Esmeralda, Eureka, Lander, Lincoln, Nye, White Pine
• Utah: Beaver, Garfield, Iron, Kane, Piute, Washington, Wayne
• Arizona: Mohave
• California: Inyo

To request support of military protocol or ceremonial events:

Please contact the Honor Guard at DSN 682-4136 or commercial (702) 205-4136. Please note that the Honor Guard must give priority to funeral honors. Though it is rare, support for your event may be canceled on short notice.

To request support for Civic Events, Parades, or Ceremonies:

Requests should be directed to the Nellis Public Affairs Office at (702) 652-2750. The Public Affairs Office will evaluate the request and coordinate with the Honor Guard if approved. Requests should be made at least 30 days prior to the event. The requesting group or organization may be asked to cover some of the costs associated with the event (i.e. meals, parking, travel, admission, etc…). Due to our mission and the volume of requests we receive, not all requests can be accommodated. In order for the Honor Guard to support an even it must fit into the guidelines set forth by Air Force Instruction 35-101. Please note that the Honor Guard must give priority to funeral honors. Though it is rare, support for your event may be canceled on short notice.
