Nellis Base Pool Opens TODAY!!! (652-2473)


Opens Today!!!  General admission is FREE all season long!!  We have lessons for all ages and abilities.  Call for a class schedule and prices.  Open swim is on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays from 1-7 p.m.  Saturday and Sundays from Noon to 6 p.m. 

Air Force Club Services offers scholarship program (652-9188)

The 2010 Air Force Services Club Member Scholarship Program ends TODAY.  To enter, submit an original essay of 500 words or less on the topic:  “What does it mean to be part of the Air Force Family?”  Current Air Force Club Members and their family members who have been accepted by or are enrolled in an accredited college or university for entry during the fall of 2010 term as a part-time or full-time student are eligible.  For entry form and more information log on to www.afclubs.net.

Crosswinds Dining Facility offers Independence Day BBQ (652-6741)

Independence Day BBQ at Crosswinds Dining Facility from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Menu will include hot dogs, BBQ chicken, BBQ Ribs and all the fix-ins.  Cost is $5.  Open to all meal card holders and authorized dining facility patrons.

Sunrise Vista Golf Course hosts Junior Golf (652-2602)

Last day to sign up for Junior Golf Camp July 27, 28, 29 and August 3, 4 and 5.  Cost is $69.95 per child and includes a shirt, U.S. kid’s golf hat, starter clubs, five (5) one hour lessons and an end of program tournament.  Ages 6 to 12 from 8-9 a.m. and ages 13 to 17 from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
